CONCEPT: A Generative Discussion of R&J
A downloadable game
"A procedurally generated classroom discussion of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Acts I-II. Join HwiYoung and KaYeon as they take on this classic drama. Guide the students through the play and find out what it's like to teach Korean preparatory students in Tokyo."
This concept work for the 2018 ProcJam shows a bit of my process planning out the discussion, creating the database and writing the script.
This game is now finished - check it out at https://titustimesten.itch.io/you-teach-romeo-and-juliet !
I've taken a naturalistic approach. Rather than starting from an abstract model that spits out text, I began with a slew of prewritten dialogue and abstracted the process.
