A downloadable game collection

A small series of procedural narrative projects.

These works will drive the development of a new tool for procedural dialogue, called Bitwise. Following in the footsteps of Improv and Tracery, Bitwise aims to become a next-gen tool for procedural narrative.

I will actively develop this collection from early Dec '20 to late Jan '21. At the end, if all goes well, I will release Bitwise to the general public.

Bitwise will be implemented in Javascript. The projects in the collection will showcase Bitwise's unique features, and this page will be updated with links as the projects are ready to meet an audience.


First project: A Story Generator

The player creates a character by selecting a handful of personality traits. Then the game generates a short story in a given setting featuring that character.
